You can still send an email of support:

APTA NH, NHAOTA, and NHSLHA have worked with state representatives to co-sponsor a bill to reduce administrative burden for therapy services in New Hampshire. Senate Bill 480 (SB480) aims to remove the requirement for preauthorization when 12 or fewer visits are required in a plan of care.

HOW CAN YOU HELP?

  1. Send an email to the following Health and Human Services Committee members requesting their support of SB480.
  2. Use the letter template below to send an email directly to the following Senators.

    Senator David Rochefort: David.rochefort@gc.nh.gov
    Senator Kevin Avard: Kevin.Avard@gc.nh.gov
    Senator Regina Birdsell: Regina.Birdsell@gc.nh.gov
    Senator Suzanne Prentiss: Suzanne.Prentiss@gc.nh.gov
    Senator Pat Long: Pat.long@gc.nh.gov
    Senator Sophie Walsh: Sophie.walsh@gc.nh.gov
  3. Adding personal and patient examples will also make your email standout.
  4. This link to the committee also has an option to email all members at one time.
  5. Help us get the word out to fellow PTs, PTAs. OTs. OTAs, and SLPs! We need as many therapists as possible to advocate for SB480!

Thank you
