Hearing on April 15 with the House Commerce and Consumer Affairs Committee on Prior Auth Bill

The APTA NH bill on limiting prior authorization, SB480, has passed out of the Senate Health and Human Services Committee and is scheduled for a hearing with the House Commerce and Consumer Affairs Committee for Wednesday, April 15,2026 at 11:00 am.


We need to have our voices heard!
 The process is the same one we used when the bill was before the Senate. Please send letters, attend in person or sign-in remotely.

 letters to the representatives on the House Commerce and Consumer Affairs Committee. The emails for each of the representatives on the committee are below. A letter template is provided for you to fill in with your personal information then send to each committee member.

Hearing date and time: Wednesday, April 15,2026 at 11:00 am

Location: Granite Place (Room 229) in Concord, NH. The street is called Granite Place, and it is off Rumford St. in Concord. When you enter the parking lot, take the right to go all the way to the back of the building, where there is parking. The building is also Home to the NH Department of Justice and the NH Department of Agriculture.

From there,

1. You want to enter your information.

2. Select the hearing date of April 15th.

3. Select the Commerce and Consumer Affairs committee.

4. Please choose the bill: SB 480 at 11 am.

5. In the “I am” section, you can choose a member of the public. Representing myself.

6. Finally, indicate your position on the bill as “in support”.

7. If you have electronic testimony you wish to submit, there is a section where you may do so below.

8. Then submit!
